This tall birdhouse is advertised beside a bird house that has a clear viewing window but this one does NOT just to let you know. It seems to be nicely constructed but I expected it to have a clear view window and I'm returning it.

It's a great house although the hooks are a little hard to get the house to hang on.

This item came preassembled! That was a nice surprise as I was expecting to have to put it together myself! I got it as a gift for someone, so I’m not sure how it works as a birdhouse/attracting birds, but it seems very high quality material and is a really decent size. I love the idea of being able to see the birds through the window, and I’m so excited to hear how she likes it!

I ordered this to cover one window and ended up buying enough to do my whole house. I cannot tell yet how much energy it’s reducing but does seem to help keep some of the heat out where there is direct sunlight. I chose the black-silver one and the color gives a cooler feel to it. The only thing I would like to say right now is if you don’t have one of these air King 9166 whole house window fans then you don’t have any idea of what you’re missing. I’ll give you one example : If you don’t like wasting electricity by turning on your AC or leave it running at night after sunset because your house inside will get warmer than the outside temperature if you don’t run the AC.
