I remember reading portions of this book when it was in blog-form. It was written in the first person, I personally prefer it when prose is in first person (I spend a ton of my time in academia, so fiction in the first person is a lovely retreat away from that world)... so I am speaking with a bit of bias here, but yes, I did prefer it when it was written in the first person. The book was riveting none the less, I was hooked.

What an incredible size this house is, I had no idea that my whole grown cat was gonna be able to fully lay inside of it and she loves it so much. The chimney on top is such a cute addition and it’s just a perfect little cat house to end the summer with before going into the Halloween and Christmas season. This cardboard house was to replace a battered worn out old box that the cat had previously played in.He seemed to like it, it’s good to play in and have a peaceful nap in occasionally.The only downside is - it is a bit pricey for cardboard, but it’s helping other animals and can you put a price on your cat’s happiness? 😺

After I got about 3/4 through the book it began to get interesting. Other than that it was just a "bunch" of descriptions about family emotions thrown together.S

Cute, fun, boldly stated… love the sticker-but it is not worth $10 and more. The S&H are not acceptable. It does not need to cost so much. I failed to notice that it had an extra charge on it. I thought my entire order was free shipping or I would cancelled that tiny sticker in a heartbeat!

I got the impression that there was both a ghost and a demon involved here but you’ll have to read and decide for yourself. Overall a decent story. Catherine Billings gets a bad rep! I feel like she had a change of heart in the set up so why is her spirit being blamed. These are just some questions. Thank you madam! ☠️

I felt like it was written very strangely. I think it had a lot of short, choppy sentences and it felt off, almost childlike. I finished the book but it’s not in the re-read pile.
